A smart new look for Vitaltone
Published: Monday, 09 June 2014 23:34

One of the longest-established businesses in Caterham Valley has undergone a major refurbishment recently.

Vitaltone Pharmacy has been in the town centre, on the corner of Godstone Road and Timber Hill Road, for the last 20 years. The current owner, Shim Patel, took the business over from his uncle ten years ago.

Since then Shim and his wife Monica, who is an optometrist, have continued to build the business which now offers an Optician service for NHS and private patients. There is also a new consultation room for the shop’s Travel Clinic, where those who are travelling to exotic locations can go and get their holiday jabs.

Shim said: “We have been steadily increasing the number of prescriptions we dispense so we decided to increase the size of our dispensary as part of the refurbishments. We have also employed an extra pharmacy assistant, Kellie, so now we are a team of five.”

The team provides a friendly and helpful service and are happy to advise on the shop’s wide range of products, which includes an excellent range of men’s and women’s fragrances. With a gift-wrapping service and hundreds of gorgeous gift items for sale, Vitaltone is a great place to go if you need to find the perfect present for someone.

With household items and cosmetics also available in the store, Vitaltone is a genuine local Aladdin’s Cave!
