Crocus display wins Rotary award

The crocus cross at St. Peter and St. Paul school.On Tuesday 5th April members of the Caterham Rotary Clubs presented an award to St. and St. Paul CofE Primary School in Chaldon for their winning crocus display in the 'Focus on the Crocus' competition, kindly sponsored by Knights Garden Centres and Linden Homes. The clubs ran the competition amongst local schools as part of the Rotary campaign to end polio. The school were joint winners of the primary section along with Hillcroft School in Caterham. de Stafford School won the award for the best secondary school display.

The campaign by the Caterham Rotary Clubs has raised over £5,000 to vaccinate thousands of children against polio in Nigeria, Pakistan, Afganistan and India.
