The cast of Bugsey Malone.

Students at the Oasis Academy in Coulsdon have presented their first ever musical production in their new building. Students, staff and parents transformed the performance Agora into Fat Sam's Speakeasy for the show Bugsy Malone.

Over 30 students were involved in the production that was performed for local residents and primary schools on Tuesday 31st January followed by two performances to parents and students.

A special group of musicians comprising students, parents and professionals performed live throughout the show. Ally Lindsay, Teacher of Drama said: "The production involved some of our best aspiring actors and singers and was a fun-filled interpretation of the original Bugsy Malone. The students worked very hard, putting in late nights and learning lines, dance moves and songs to accommodate the script."
