This month we feature Dick Moran, Chief Executive of the Caterham Barracks Community Trust which includes The Arc recreation centre and The Officers' Mess serviced offices in Caterham-on-the- Hill.

Pinner, Middlesex.

Marital Status:

Married (39 years).

Children: Two girls, Laura & Emily

Cars: No car at present, I use Emily's Ford Ka while she is at university.

Pets: None.

Childhood hero: Robin Hood.

Favourite Food & Drink: Fillet steak with a quality Barolo.

Pastimes: Good food, art galleries and museums, great cities, cooking and watching rugby.

Likes: Optimists, creativity in music, dance, theatre and art, public speaking, challenging the 'status quo' and new technology.

Dislikes: NIMBYs, cynics and absolutes.

Biggest influence on your life: Studying in France for two years after May '68.

Favourite TV show: NCIS.

Favourite book: Lord of the Rings.

Favourite song of all time: 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen

Favourite holiday destination: Sicily

Proudest moment: Being present at the birth of my daughters.

Most embarrassing moment: Turning green during the birth of my first daughter.

Who would you most like to throw a custard pie at? Jeffrey Archer.

Where would you most like to live? Wherever I can make a difference.

Who would you most like to meet? Terry Waite.

If you won the Lottery jackpot, how would you spend it? I would endow The Arc and Caterham Barracks Community Trust to give both a long term future
