Viva! Investigations

NEW HORROR AT HOGWOOD FARM

Dear Julia

In 2017, Viva! visited Hogwood Farm for the first time. The conditions our investigators found were horrific. We reported them directly to Red Tractor, Tesco and the government.

One year on, our investigators returned and found little had changed…

The Daily Mail, Daily Star and many others this week covered our new investigation - helping us get the word out about this horrendous farm to millions of people.
Sick pigs were abandoned in the gangway without food and water. In their desperation, they were eating a fellow piglet alive. She trembled as another gnawed on her foot.
Mothers forced to suckle their babies while caged with no bedding, unable to reach piglets in trouble.
We found one newborn piglet struggling and shivering while another had already died.
Again, we reported them: this time to the police, RSPCA, government vets and Tesco. We've had no good news in response - the vet who attended did not even treat or remove the piglet who was being eaten.

The suffering isn't ending on its own. We need your help.

We are stepping up the pressure on Tesco to drop this horror farm as a supplier. But, we cannot do it without you.

The conditions in this farm are horrifying and cruel and we need to make it stop. Please support this campaign and help us END it.
