Caterham Rotary helps local military clubs
Published: Saturday, 12 December 2009 02:59

Caterham Rotary Club are delighted to have been able to replace the two damaged benches outside the Royal British Legion and Ex-Servicemen's Club in Townend, Caterham-on-the-Hill. President of Caterham Rotary, Jim Burton, formally handed over the benches after the two minutes silence on Armistice Day last month. There have been two benches on the same spot for about ten years but time and vandals had taken their toll and new benches were required.

The Rotary Club would like to thank David Knight of Knights Garden Centre, Woldingham, who supplied the two Alexander Rose benches.
