Local band 'Edged' performing at last year's DeFest.

Time is running out to book your tickets for this year's DeFest musical festival taking place at de Stafford School in Caterham this weekend, 18th/19th June. For just £4 a ticket per day, visitors will enjoy a great line-up of entertainment with a variety of acts and sideshows to suit all tastes. Day one will meet with the approval of any regular festival attendee, with the main stage line-up featuring local award-winning band 'Edged'; the youngest band to play at Glastonbury -The Theory of Six Degrees; Live and Unsigned competition finalists - 'The Merry Gang' and more.

No Name Jive have taken on a huge part of the organisation of day 2 of DeFest, helping to plan not only the music line-up but also the 'Caterham Cruise' featuring military and classic cars. Sunday is a Father's Day special, for all those wanting that lazy Sunday afternoon feel!

Amongst the attractions new for this year will be Zorbing, Pig Racing, Graffiti Zone street art and a Drum 'n' Base Dance Tent. The team from Ridge Radio will be live from DeFest on fm for the weekend - tune in via 97.9fm.

DeFest is one of the many Caterham Festival events taking place during June. See the July edition of The Caterham and District Independent for a special Caterham Festival souvenir eight-page supplement.
