On Sunday 2nd July the Tandridge Community Fund ('TCF') presented a Classical Concert in the grounds of 'The Chalet' in Caterham, the home of the charity's patron, Mr David Gold.

The proceedings started at 2pm, with singing from local music students entertaining the crowd as they settled down with their picnics. The programme of classical musicians started at 6.15pm with a performance by classical guitarist Ahmed Dickinson, followed by further superb performances by Yuki Negishi (piano), Aisling Ennis (harp), Julie Groves (flute), the Blackheath String Quartet and the London Myriad Ensemble wind quintet.

Julie GrovesAt the end of the evening cheque presentations were made by TCF to three local beneficiaries and TCF were themselves presented with a cheque for £782, raised by the staff of Warlingham Sainsbury's.

Cheers ladies!

Ahmed Dickinson.

Master of Ceremonies, Richard Stilgoe.
