Caterham & Warlingham CAB seeks new Trustees
Published: Friday, 12 August 2011 09:47

A local charity, the Caterham & Warlingham Citizens Advice Bureau, is seeking to recruit at least two new volunteer trustees to join the board. They are looking for people with strategic vision, independent judgment and a willingness to give time and commitment to being a trustee. Some experience in business or fund raising will be helpful but is not essential.

Caterham & Warlingham CAB is an independent charity staffed mainly by volunteers who provide advice and information on a wide range of subjects. The bureau is predominantly funded by Tandridge District Council and new trustees are being sought to help find additional sources of income to maintain and improve the service provided to the public.

For more information on the Trustee role, the personal skills and qualities required, and an application form please e-mail: bureau@caterhamcab.cabnet.org.uk putting "Trustee recruitment" in the subject line. Alternatively please write to: The Chairman, Caterham & Warlingham Citizens Advice Bureau, Soper Hall, Harestone Valley Road, Caterham, Surrey CR3 6YN or, for an informal discussion on the role of a trustee, please telephone either Andrew Francis (Chairman) on 01883 653050 or Peter Longhurst (Vice-Chairman) on 01883 381208.
