Published: Friday, 19 August 2011 11:03

Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham is holding a 'Medieval Day' tomorrow, 20th August from 10am – 4pm. Shoppers will be entertained by The Jolly Jester, and Medieval Nave throughout the day. Children can have their faces painted by Bubblegum Face Painting (donations towards Marie Curie) and shoppers will be greeted by Lady Sonia our town crier.

A Medieval themed fancy dress competition will be held for princes, princesses, knights, dragons and other themed costumes at 2.30pm. Please register with the Medieval Nave from 11am.

Entry forms for the children's shop window competition can be collected from First Choice Travel. The Treasure Hunt is supported by every shop in the Church Walk Shopping Centre. The children have to spot an item in the shop windows which are not normally sold, complete the entry form and return it to First Choice Travel.

The Surrey Wildlife Trust and The Arc will have stalls on the day. For more information go to www.churchwalkcaterham.com

Church Walk manager, Shelley Filippi, said: "We would like to thank Morrison's for supplying Free all day parking to ensure our shoppers can enjoy themselves and stay longer."
