Lady Sonia, the herald for the day greeted shoppers and children had their faces painted by Bubblegum Face Painting.

The ever-popular shop window competition was hosted by First Choice Travel, where children have to spot an item in a shop window that they do not sell.

The highlight of the afternoon was the fancy dress competition, won by eight year-old Matthew Hurcombe from Caterham who dressed as a knight. Princess Penny Hurcombe came second and Princess Isabelle Haynes came third.
