Members of a car enthusiasts' club called 'South Meets' held a charity event at the Orpheus Centre in Godstone on Sunday 21st August raising £456 for the charity.

Over 100 people attended the event with 70 cars that were washed by the 'South Meets' bikini girls. Other attractions included a display of classic cars, a 'Havair' stand and music.

Organiser, Kathryn Giles said: "The day was a great success and we hope to hold many more charity events. I would like to say a big 'thank you' to Three Arch Garage who supplied the marguees and ran the barbecue. I would also like to thank all the 'South Meets' volunteers who spent all day in the heat raising more and more money.

"Thank you too to the Havair team who turned up bright and early with their amazing cars, put on a fantastic show and gave some generous donations."

'South Meets' can be found on Facebook.
