Panto raises funds for local church

Photo by Jon HarrisonMembers of St Mary's Church in Church Road, Caterham-on-the-Hill performed the pantomime 'Hansel and Gretel in The Emperor's New Clothes' last month to raise funds towards the cost of a new boiler installed last year at a cost of £10,000.

Many of the cast were family groups, including the Rector, Reverend Duncan Swan, with his wife and two sons.

The show was the 5th pantomime put on by the church and the performers are delighted to have raised in the region of £1,500 for the church, exceeding the £1,000 raised last year.
