Thank you to supporters of RAFA Wings Appeal

The Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) Wings Appeal raised £535.75 during their recent annual flag day at the Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham Valley.

The money will help the organisation support ex-serving members of the RAF, dependent families, survivors of the World War II and those serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. All can turn to RAFA when in need of welfare support.

Providing such services costs money and the group do not received any government funding and rely on the generosity of people and companies to help raise those millions of pounds needed each year.

Members of Kenley RAFA manned the stall supported in the afternoon by some members of the Kenley 450 Squadron ATC. The Church Walk Shopping Centre manager, Shelley Filippi, would like to thanks members of the public for their support of this event.
