Caterham & District Carnival Committee held their annual darts competition on Saturday 28th January at the Caterham Ex Serviceman's Club, in Townend, Caterham. The first fundraising event of the year organised by John O'Neill, attracted 12 teams, with many families taking part.

Humphrey United triumphed over the Old Gits (last years winners) in the final of this knockout competition. Humphrey United's team were Hedley Humphrey, Dave Humphrey, William Humphrey, Mick Holman, Lee Jones and Joe Shanahan.

The winner of the plate competition was Pugwash.

Trophies and plates were donated by local business JJ Browne & Son (Jewellers) Ltd and presented by Martin Vaux , Chairman of the Carnival Committee.

This years Beneficiaries from Caterham Carnival will be 12th Caterham Scouts, Caterham District Girl Guides, Ridge Radio and Caterham & Whyteleafe Tennis Club.
