A number of local jobs have been safeguarded following the successful sale of Croydon Road insurance brokers, The Riverbourne Group Ltd. Anthony Cork and Stephen Grant, partners at Wilkins Kennedy Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, were appointed as administrators to The Riverbourne Group on Sunday 19th February 2012. On Tuesday 28th February they sold the business and assets of the company to Aston Scott and The Insurance Partnership.

The Riverbourne Group Ltd is a national insurance broker providing corporate insurance services. The company employs staff operating from two offices, one in Caterham and another in Leeds in Yorkshire.

Stephen Grant, Partner at Wilkins Kennedy said: " I am delighted to have sold the business and would like to thank all the employees who have helped us to keep trading the business and for the support of the creditors which has allowed us to preserve value."
