Marden Lodge pupils ‘go live’ on Ridge Radio
Published: Tuesday, 27 March 2012 20:33

Marden Lodge pupils Catherine Kipper, Molly Beaven, Aoife Crook and Amy Hilden broadcasting live from Ridge Radio.

Years 5 and 6 pupils from Marden Lodge School were in control of things at Ridge Radio recently when they visited the station to broadcast their very own live show.

Accompanied by their teachers, Miss Corbett and Miss White, the youngsters donned earphones, read scripts and broadcast interviews with local people including Surrey County Councillor, Sally Marks.

The show had been written, edited and produced by the pupils in weekly 45 minute sessions held after school during the eight weeks leading up to the show. They even made their own jingles!
