Murdered to Death
Published: Friday, 20 April 2012 10:45

From 19th to 28th April the Miller Centre Theatre Company is presenting Murdered to Death by Peter Gordon, a gloriously funny spoof of every Agatha Christie murder mystery written, filmed or brought to the stage.

The scene is set in a country house with assembled guests during a dark and stormy night when, predictably, a murder is committed. The police are called and the bumbling detective, Inspector Pratt, enters. Inspector Pratt trips over the clues and points fingers in every direction while never quite seeing the obvious and nailing the culprit. It is not so much a question of whether Inspector Pratt will get his man before someone else gets the chop as whether he will make an arrest before the audience dies of laughter.

The Miller Centre Theatre Company operates a Charity Scheme allowing patrons of plays to donate an optional £1 per ticket to a local charity nominated by members of The Miller Centre. The nominated charity for Murdered to Death is MENCAP (CROYDON) Croydon.
