New chairman for Warlingham Parish Council

Phil Flower

Local Rotarian Phil Flower has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of Warlingham Parish Council.

After being elected on wednesday 9th May, Cllr Flower thanked outgoing Chairman Richard Mascall and all the other retiring councillors for their hard work and promised to build upon their achievements.

A well-known member of Caterham Rotary Club, Cllr Flower is involved in many local good causes, and has promised to reach out to all sections of the community and to fully engage the Warlingham Parish Council in developing a safe, vibrant and sustainable future for the village.

Long serving Tandridge District Councillor Glynis Whittle was also elected as Vice Chairman, and expressed her delight at reprising the role she first held when Warlingham Parish Council was re-founded back in 2000.
