Caterham Rotary Club donated £5,000 towards the refurbishment and re-equipment of the suite which is one of a number of new classrooms that have been kitted out with the most up-to-date resources.

Last year the school was granted Specialist School status in Maths and Computing enabling them to invest a substantial amount of additional money into equipment and staff training. To be eligible for the £100,000 of government funding, de Stafford had to raise £50,000 from the local community.

In addition to helping the pupils at de Stafford, the extra funding will provide courses for adults in the local community who lack skills and qualifications in Maths and ICT.
