Olde Worlde fun in Church Walk

Princes, princesses and knights gathered in Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham recently for the Centre's Medieval Day on Saturday, 25th August. They were taking part in a fancy dress competition being held as part of the Medieval celebrations organised by Centre Manager, Shelley Filippi. Staff from Specsavers were on hand to judge the competition while Robert the jester entertained the crowd.

The winners were

1st – Knight, Sir Alfie Spring aged 5 from Caterham who attends St Peter and St Paul's school.

2nd – Princess Darcie-Rose Southon aged 2 from Godstone

3rd – Knight, Sir Ben Cox from Chaldon, celebrating his 8th birthday.

All the children who took part received colouring books and a bucket and spade donated by WH Smiths and the winners received goodie bags.
