On Wednesday 24th October de Stafford School in Burntwood Lane, Caterham-on-the-Hill held an Open Event for parents, where they were able to look around the school and join their children in the classroom to see what goes on in class.

Graham Locke, father of Year 7 student, Becky Locke, said: "We like to see the teachers in action and see how they learn because as parents we don't normally see our kids in the classroom. Becky was looking forward to coming to de Stafford School because of all the clubs and facilities here. She was really ready for secondary school by the end of year 6 and she is very happy here."
