Chaldon Brownies receive the 'Myra Fayle' Shield
Published: Friday, 30 November 2012 11:58

Earlier this month, Andy Welland from the Caterham Carnival Committee presented the Myra Fayle Shield to the Chaldon Brownies for being judged the best group that took part in this year's Carnival procession. The Brownies are the very first recipients of the Shield which was dedicated to Myra Fayle in her honour. Myra was on the Carnival committee for many years, usually organising and running the baby competition.

Andy said: "Sadly Myra passed away a few months ago and so we thought that it would be nice to do something in her honour."

If you run a local group or organisatin and would like to take part in next year's Carnival procession, please contact Andy at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
