Loved ones remembered at All Saints' Church, Warlingham.
Published: Friday, 28 December 2012 07:34

On Thursday 6th December All Saints' Church in Warlingham was the venue for a Christmas Memorial Service sponsored by Pinks Funeral Directors.

The service was conducted by Reverend Michelle Edmonds and Lay Reader Mark Lanyon.

The congregation sang Christmas carols and listened to readings, including a beautiful poem entitled 'Christmas Without You' read by Civil Funeral Celebrant, Jenny Gibbs.

Richard D Van-Nes Ostj went on to read 'The Candle Prayer'. The service continued with prayers, quiet reflection time and the singing of more carols.

At the end of the service the members of the congregation had the opportunity to light candles and place messages on the Memorial Christmas Tree in memory of their loved ones before enjoying refreshments in the vestry.
