The Circus is in town!
Published: Friday, 08 February 2013 11:01

The circus is coming to town this month as Tandridge Trust plans a fun-packed half term for parents and children alike.

First into the ring is Family Circus School. Surrey County Council has part funded this exciting opportunity for families to come together and learn some fun and exciting circus skills. Parents can take on their children in face to face challenges such as the unicycle, tight rope, juggling, mini stilts and more, before a final show stopping performance that will really catch everyone's attention!

For older children, ages 10-16 years, there is Circus Skills Challenge, where they can learn a variety of circus tricks including walking on mini stilts, unicycle, juggling and balance tricks. Teams will compete in a face off challenge at the end of the day with fun prizes to be won! If dancing is more their thing then professional dance tutor, Nikki Watson, is running an urban dance workshop featuring the music of singing sensation Rita Ora. Keeping the energy up, there is Trampolining for 5-9 year olds and crash courses in Swimming for Beginners and Improvers, from 4 years+.

All these activities take place Monday 18th February – Friday 22nd February. For further details and how to book, please visit www.tandridgetrust.co.uk or call de Stafford Sports Centre on 01883 344355. Places are strictly limited so booking is essential, call now to reserve your place.
