Support Marie Curie and wear a daffodil in March
Published: Friday, 08 March 2013 09:59

The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie's biggest fundraiser and encourages everyone to support those with a terminal illness by giving a donation and wearing a daffodil pin throughout March. All funds raised will allow people with terminal illnesses to be cared for in their own homes by Marie Curie Nurses.

Ros Hooper, Area Fundraising Manager, said: "We need everyone in Surrey to donate and wear one of our daffodil pins during March.

"Every penny you give is absolutely vital in helping us support people with terminal illnesses in your area, and provide more of the free hands-on care and emotional support we're renowned for."

Daffodil pins can be picked up from local stores, Marie Curie volunteer collectors, and Marie Curie Shops throughout March.

For more information on how to get involved in the Great Daffodil Appeal, contact Ros Hooper, Area Fundraising Manager on: 01883 832643 or visit: www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil
