A percussion workshop is on the agenda this Easter at Tandridge Leisure Centre in Oxted for children aged 8-13 years. Professional practitioners from Rhythmix, one of the UK's leading music charities, will be guiding participants through all the skills needed to create imaginative and infectious beats, which will have everyone tapping along in no time. Rhythmix delivers a large range of music making opportunities for young people across the South East. Since 1999, Rhythmix has worked with more than 45,000 young people, enabling their creative activity through music and developing their personal and social skills. Tandridge Trust is very excited to have Rhythmix on board for this inspiring and brilliantly noisy workshop. To the Beat of the Drum will be taking place on Friday 5th April, from 2-4pm at Tandridge Leisure Centre. The cost is £10 for members, £11 non-members. Booking is essential so please telephone 01883 716717 to reserve your place. |
