Get ready to celebrate St. George's Day
Published: Friday, 12 April 2013 10:13

The Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham are starting their celebrations for St Georges Day on Saturday 20th April. Children will have the opportunity to meet St George in his full suit of armour riding his trusty steed, members of Far Isles Medieval Society, Knight DJ 'Sir Steve' and Sonia Hunt, Caterham Town Crier. There will be face painting for children outside Wimpy with donations for the Ambulance Service Benevolent Fund and free all day parking kindly provided by Morrison's.

There will be a slight twist on the fancy dress competition this year as the organisers are looking for 'all things English'. The competition will be held at 2.30pm and children will need to register with Sir Steve the DJ from 11am.
