Health and Safety in the workplace course
Published: Friday, 10 May 2013 10:15

All employers must ensure their staff are safe in the workplace. To help local businesses with this, Tandridge District Council's Environmental Health Team is running the CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace course on Wednesday 15th May.

This one day course and exam will be held at the Council Offices in Oxted, taught by an Environmental Health Officer. The course offers basic guidance and advice about health and safety in a practical way and is for anyone with health and safety responsibilities.

The price for businesses in the Tandridge District is £60 (including VAT) a candidate.

For more information about the course please call Anne Gates on 01883 732897, e-mail eh@tandridge.gov.uk, or visit www.tandridge.gov.uk/environment.

Councillor Tony Elias, Chairman of the Community Services Committee, said: "Health and safety is so important for businesses. We can provide lots of help and advice, as well as this low cost course to support and help them."
