Caterham Valley Parish Council helps St. Catherine's Hospice
Published: Thursday, 01 April 2010 06:52

Caterham Valley Parish Council has donated £500 to St. Catherine's Hospice, which last year took over the specialist palliative care services in the Caterham area.

The funds have been earmarked towards the activities of St. Catherine's community nursing team in Caterham, which will help make a real difference towards enhancing the quality of life for patients with incurable illnesses.

Parish Clerk, Bill Ridley, said: "We are really pleased to make this donation to St. Catherine's as their nurses play such an important role in our local community. They fully deserve our support."
