Can you take on an apprentice?
Published: Friday, 12 July 2013 10:35

Next Friday, 19th July from 8am-9am, Sam Gyimah MP is hosting a drop-in session for businesses to learn from the apprenticeship experts about the value of taking on an apprentice. The event is taking place in the Soper Hall in Harestone Valley Road, Caterham CR3 6HY.

A business involved in the apprenticeship campaign is eligible for the following:

•A government subsidy of £1,500 for every apprentice taken on.

•A trainee for up to a year with the option of keeping them on full time.

•Up to 100% subsidy for the cost of training for the apprentice.

The process is hassle free – the National Apprenticeship Service will help find a suitable apprentice and arrange all aspects of the programme.

The event is free of charge but places should be booked in advance with either Andrew Browne, e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots.
