New roles for The Salvation Army leaders Chris and Karen
Published: Monday, 15 July 2013 00:58

After 11 years, Chris and Karen Sandford, The Salvation Army leaders in Caterham, are moving on to other roles within The Salvation Army.

Chris will be Spiritual Director at The Salvation Army, Booth House, a homeless centre in London. Karen is joining the Leadership team at The Salvation Army in Penge.

After announcing their move Chris said: "Karen and I have enjoyed working with, and being part of, the community in Caterham and we are staying in the area. We are grateful to the local organisations, schools, and churches we have worked with during our time here as Salvation Army leaders and we would like to assure the community that the work of The Salvation Army will continue as before."

Don Hall will be taking over the local leadership in September. Chris and Karen's final Sunday service will be at 10.30am on 14th July at Oakhall Church, Francis Road in Caterham-onthe- Hill. All are welcome to attend.
