Westway turns pink for the day!
Published: Friday, 25 October 2013 09:26

On Friday 18th October the traders in Westway in Caterham-on-the-Hill turned their street pink in aid of the charity Breast Cancer Care. The brainchild of the staff of Champ Consultants at number 34, they wanted to beat the £30 they raised last year so decided to get the whole street involved. Collection pots were placed in all the main shops and just in time for the afternoon school run, homemade cakes were sold. The total raised this year was £176.37.

Matthew Baker of Champ Consultants said: "We would like to say a big thank you to everyone shopping or passing Westway on the day who donated into one of the pots."
