Saxophonist Suzi G to perform for Maypole Project
Published: Friday, 15 November 2013 13:04

Whyteleafe resident Chris Warner-Hill has been selected to run the London Marathon as the sole representative of the Maypole Project that looks after families with children with complex medical needs.    To help reach his target of £1,600 Chris and his wife Vicky are holding a concert by saxophonist Suzi G at the Whyteleafe Tavern from 7.30pm on Saturday 30th November.

Chris said:  "Although I have to raise £1,600, my aim is to raise £100 per mile (£2,620).  A neighbour of mine has signed up to do the Brighton marathon for the same cause two weeks earlier and we are planning sole and joint fundraising efforts.  We hope lots of people support our first event,  the Suzi G concert which promises to be a great night.  Tom Dempsey, the landlord of the Whyteleafe Tavern, is kindly sponsoring the food for us."

Tickets to the concert cost £15 to include a plate of Tom Dempsey's famous Thai Curry.  To book tickets call Chris Warner on 07855 834876 or e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
