Beechwood Women's Club celebrates 50 years
Published: Thursday, 29 April 2010 04:39

Over fifty past and present members with invited guests had the opportunity to sing and dance the night away to the music of Nathan Rhodes in celebration of Beechwood Women's Club's fiftieth birthday on Tuesday March 30th.

Members provided the buffet supper and two of the more artistic members decorated a special cake.

The celebrations will continue later in the year when Club members will be visiting the Royal Pavilion at Brighton and enjoying afternoon tea at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

The club originally held their meetings at the old Adult Education Centre in Beechwood Road, but in 1995 moved to St. Mary's Church Hall, Caterham-on-the-Hill where they meet every Tuesday evening at 8.00 pm (term time only). Please feel free to join them, or contact the Secretary on 348830 as visitors and new members are always welcome.
