Raising the flag for Commonwealth Day

On Monday 10th March at 10am, the Chairman of the Council, Councillor Beverley Connolly, will be marking Commonwealth Day by raising the flag for Tandridge District Council at the Council Offices, Oxted. Residents, colleagues and staff are invited to come and witness this. Before the flag is raised the Chairman will also read a Commonwealth Affirmation and a message from HM The Queen.

Chairman of the Council, Councillor Beverley Connolly, said: “We are delighted to be part of and support this initiative which enables local communities to join others nationwide in celebrating all that being part of the Commonwealth stands for.”
