Tandridge Photographic Society celebrates 50 years

On Tuesday, 3rd June, Tandridge Photographic Society celebrated their 50th anniversary with the launch of an exhibition of their work at the offices of Tandridge District Council in Station Road East, Oxted. The evening commenced with the Chairman of the Society, Dr. John Nathan, announcing the award winners and the leader of Tandridge District Council, Gordon Keymer, presenting the awards to the winning members. The award presentations were followed by the official opening of the exhibition by Mr Keymer.

During his speech, Mr Keymer congratulated the Society on reaching its 50th anniversary and warmly welcomed the members to the council offices for their celebration and exhibition. After enjoying some champagne and snacks, the members adjourned to nearby Cucina Italiana restaurant for their anniversary dinner.

'Kingfisher' by David Hurkett, the photo voted for as the members' overall favourite photograph.
