Rotary Christmas Collection helps Dormers care home
Published: Friday, 28 May 2010 09:38

Two members of staff from Dormers care home in Foxon Lane, Caterham-on-the-Hill visited the Surrey National Golf Club  recently to be presented with a cheque for £1,733.00 from Caterham and Caterham Harestone Rotary Clubs.  The sum represents half the money raised during the Rotary Christmas Street Collection last year.  The other half was donated to the new 'Street'  youth centre in Godstone Road, Caterham.

Assitant Team Manager from Dormers, Cathy Manners, said: “We are extremely grateful for this donation.  We will be using it to decorate the day room which is in constant use by our residents, who will be delighted with the improvements.”
