On Sunday 27th April over 400 Scouts and leaders paraded through Caterham Valley to celebrate St Georges Day. The annual parade started in Beechwood Road and, led by the Warlingham Flute band, they paraded to the United Reformed Church in Harestone Valley Road. Outside the Soper Hall, Chairman of Tandridge District Council, Cllr Beverley Connolly, took the salute. She was joined by District Commissioner Tim Evans, Reverend Julian Thomas from the URC and Nichola Riches from St Mary's Church. During the service, Nichola caused much merriment in the church as she gave out chocolate.

During the service, Reg Enstone was presented with a certificate for reaching 30 years' service to the Scout Association.
