Man charged following hammer-throwing incident

The Old Surrey Hounds pub.

A man has been charged following an incident where a hammer is believed to have been thrown through a window of a pub in Caterham.

The incident occurred at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 14th May at The Old Surrey Hounds pub in Croydon Road, Caterham Valley.

Paul Christopher Collins, 40, of Croydon Road in Caterham has been charged with driving whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs and affray. He has been bailed and is due to appear at Redhill Magistrates Court on Monday, 9th June.
