New patron for the Tandridge Community Fund
Published: Tuesday, 05 January 2010 05:27

The Management Panel of the Tandridge Community Fund ('TCF') are delighted that local businessman, David Gold, has accepted their invitation to become a Patron of the Fund.

TCF was initiated by a small group of volunteers who formed a Management Panel. The trustees, bankers and investors are Surrey Community Foundation which runs some 25 schemes across the county. Most of these are relatively small in their geographic position, but TCF is a districtwide scheme - a fund in perpetuity where the capital is never touched but the interest earned will be used to help good causes in the Tandridge District area.

TCF Chairman, Mike Moss, said: "The fact that we have patronage from a prominent local businessman who is very supportive of the fund will help to bring it to the attention of the community. Thank you Mr Gold!"
