It's all change at Caterham Rotary Club
Published: Wednesday, 07 September 2016 11:44

Caterham Rotary Club recently welcomed in their new President – Colin Vane during their lunchtime meeting in early July at The Surrey National Golf Club. He took over the chain of office for the next 12 months from outgoing President Mike O’Reilly following a very successful year, which saw the Club support many local organisations.

Colin commented “It is a great honour and privilege to take on the role of President of the Caterham Rotary Club. We are a very active club and I am looking forward to a busy year.

The fundamental concept of “Service above Self” remains the pillar around which Rotary activity is constructed and this will certainly not change.

There is much for us to do and I am proud of the fact that the Club’s activities extend across the globe while at the same time engaging and assisting in our local community.”

Rotarian’s Andy Parr and Steph Barrett were elected Vice Presidents and will become Presidents during the next 2 years

They were also pleased to welcome special guest for lunch Pat Cannon Chairman of Tandridge District Council who is also District Councillor for Chaldon.
