Parish Council helps to boost Museum's funds

The Chairman of Caterham Valley Parish Council, Helen Hammer (centre) presents the cheque to Beverley Connolly watched by local historian Gwyneth Fookes.

Last month The Chairman of East Surrey Museum, Beverley Connolly, was delighted to receive a cheque from Caterham Valley Parish Council for £2,500 towards the cost of maintenance work on the building. The money will go towards the cost of providing a new entrance and access to the museum, including new signage and soft landscaping at a total cost of £7,500.
