The Amber Room Salon goes pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month
Published: Friday, 15 October 2010 09:23

 The ghd Pink Limited Edition

On Saturday 16th October and Thursday 21st October staff from The Amber Room Hair Salon in Caterham will be wearing pink to work, and raising as much money as possible to help ghd fundraise for Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a pioneering charity dedicated to the prevention, treatment and ultimate eradication of breast cancer.

The salon will be selling the pink ribbon pins and collecting as many donations as possible. As well as fundraising in the salon, The Amber Room will also be stocking the new ghd Pink limited edition styler designed exclusively by ghd for Breakthrough.

This year's Pink limited edition styler has had a revolutionary make-over marking the 7th year working in collaboration with Breakthrough Breast Cancer. While the dreamy floral print is pink, the styler has been transformed with a sleek white gloss finish and vibrant pink plates.

A gorgeous raffia bag and compact mirror accompanies the new Pink patterned ghd IV styler which retains all the versatile functions it is famous for, as the rounder barrel allows you to curl, flick, wave and straighten. And with £10 from sale being donated to breakthrough Breast Cancer, this ghd Pink styler is the beauty must-have with a heart.

The Amber Room commented:

"We hope to raise lots of money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and have lots of fun doing it! With nearly 46,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer each year, it's a really important issue for our staff and customers. We're also proud to be a stockist of the gorgeous new ghd Pink limited edition styler which helps raise even more for Breakthrough Breast Cancer's life-saving work."
