Proposed changes to bus services
Published: Friday, 14 January 2011 10:20

Surrey County Council is undergoing Phase 2 of the review of its bus services in the county which currently costs the council over £11m a year. Amongst the services that will be affected by the proposed changes are the 409 (East Grinstead to Croydon via Caterham), the 540 (Woldingham to East Surrey Hospital) and Buses4U, the demand responsive service that operates anywhere in the Tandridge District.

Caterham-on-the-Hill Parish Councillors were at Caterham-on-the-Hill library in Westway on Saturday 15th January from 3pm to 4pm to discuss the proposed changes and how they could impact on residents.

Residents have until the end of January to make comments on the Surrey County Council website. To view the Phase 2 proposals and to make a comment, go to www.surreycc.gov.uk, search for 'Surrey Bus Review' and click on 'Your buses your say'.
