Please give us a job!

My name is Anna Michelle Holder. I am 17 years old and have special needs. People in different areas with special needs apply for different jobs - they apply for them and never get told if they have got the job or not.

People like employers really need to recognise their needs/disabilities and give them an opportunity to
work. People with special needs find it really difficult when it comes to employment.

Two years ago, I passed my Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award and now I am currently doing my Gold Duke of Edinburgh. Employers really need to give a huge thought about giving a certain individual out there a job. I don’t think it is fair that so many people with special needs don’t get any jobs. I just wish that lots of employers out there give individuals with special needs a job!

Anna Holder, Caterham.

Thank you
