The Caterham and District Rifle Club were celebrating success last month after they won the Forsythe Challenge Trophy in the Surrey County Small Bore Rifle Association League.

Denham Earl, Ron Giddens, Iain Kerr, Merlin Skinner, Brian Tonks and Nigel Toze made up the team that won the fine shield which was first shot for in 1915 and is presented by the Surrey Association under the McRae handicap rules. For more information telephone Norman Skinner on 01883 341683
