The annual prizegiving of the Caterham and District Rifle Club took place at Warlingham Sports Club on Friday 8th October. Merlin Skinner (prone rifle Captain) had a good season winning the Cranmer Shield, knocking out competition that carries the title of Club Champion, the Morris Memorial Shield for the highest match average, the Soper memorial trophy (the best score with prone rifle, light sporting rifle and match air pistol added together). Also the George Skeet pairs in partnership with Peter Kelly. The trophy consists of two solid brass horses.

Thomas Stretton (air pistol Captain) won the Uridge Pistol trophy for the 30 best match target scores and Bryan Murry took the President's Shield in an exciting knock-out shoot with Light Sporting Rifle.

In all, eighteen trophies were awarded on the night, including an unusual prize, the 'Stalkers Challenge Tankard', fullbore rifle 100 yards at Bisley won by Andy McGarty.
