Preparations in full swing for Rotary Charity Golf Day
Published: Wednesday, 26 January 2011 19:54

Golfers at last year's charity event at Bletchingley Golf Club.

Caterham Rotary Club is inviting people to take part in their Charity Golf Day being held at Bletchingley Golf Club on Monday, 9th May. Last year the event attracted over 100 competitors, raising £3,500 for charity. The proceeds from this year's event will be divided between St. Catherine's Hospice and other Rotary charities. Previous beneficiaries have been Prostate Cancer, Surrey Air Ambulance and the Back-Up Trust.

Caterham Rotary are inviting teams of four players at a cost of £220 or individually at £55, to include bacon rolls on arrival, a two course lunch and an 18 hole golf competition, with the best two Stableford scores to count. The club would be delighted to hear from anyone willing to sponsor a tee or donate a prize for the auction or raffle. If you would like to support the event, please contact David Monk on 01883 341109.
